The two men spoke and Angel listened to them intently, nodding quietly when they thanked her for her hospitality, all the while she caressed Adrian's hand absent mindedly. It wasn't until the later man asked for someone to wake her unconscious boyfriend did she realize she had hold of his hand.
She had so many questions about the others, for instant their powers. She could sense them, an intensity from their aura. It was a recognizable power source but she just couldn't lay her finger on it, where did they come from, and how did they know there was trouble?
" So you said you were here to fix our demon problem." Angel started somewhat hesitantly, " How do you intend to fix it?" She asked bluntly, finally after trying to find the words to ask.
Angel looked intently on the men, and then brought her attention back to Adrian, he really should be woken up, she agreed with that so she began shaking him, trying to coax him out of his unconscience state.

Raven thought she had made a fairly clean getaway when the door slammed in front of her, pausing mid stride as she held the earphone half in and half out of her ear she turned on her heel to face the group on the couch, the door closing had been sudden enough to catch her off guard. Clearly one of these "gentlemen" was not what he seemed. Tilting her head she mumbled incoherantly "Guess I won't be finishing my run after all" Momentarily she wondered if she had have tried the handle if it would have opened the door, somehow she doubted it would have been that easy to leave if anyone here had wanted her to stay. Pushing the thought to the back of her mind she fumbled with the player in her pocket, switching it back off and slipping the earphones back in with it. Looking from one to the next in a vain effort to determine which of them was keeping her here, not entirely willingly, her eyes fell to the unconscious boy once more. "Cold compress or maybe some smelling salts should wake him...whose house is this?" she asked truely baffled by the nights proceedings so far.

The unconscious man finally woke up, instantly catching the attention of everyone else in the room. Looked like Akeelah’s question would have to wait for now. Not like she cared, she just needed something to do and the only thing she knew to do, was conduct business. She listened to the leader of the new group introduced himself and his men to the rest intently. Unlike the others she didn’t move from her spot afterwards, since she didn’t know the kitchen well enough to assist the girl named Alison and with Angel trying to wake Adrian up she wasn’t needed there. So instead what she did was trying to determine how troublesome the men might be. Yes they had helped them get rid of their little demon problem and even saved Adrian’s life. But she would be a fool to trust them so easily. They must have their own personal agenda for helping them that could end up being troublesome for her and the others. The biggest concern she had was how these men knew about them. They knew who everyone else was; they probably knew who she was too. Why did these men know them? How much exactly did they know? If there was one thing Akeelah hated was some stranger she barely knew having knowledge on her personal life.
“Before we get down to business I think you owe us some answers.” She said, “You can’t possibly think that we can just trust a group of strangers offering to ‘help’ us without knowing why you want to. Or at least how come you know who we are.” Like it or not someone better start talking because until she got some answers she couldn’t trust these men no matter how ‘helpful’ they were.

"So many questions." Nathaniel chuckled, though neither of his companions seemed to share his sentiment. "I wonder what I have done to earn such mistrust from the people whose lives I risked my own for. A little faith, that's all I ask." Meanwhile, Adrian was beginning rise from his imposed state of rest, awoken by Angel's less-than-gentle methods. His immediate reaction, him being who he was, was one of violence, almost immediately halted when a familiar scent reached his mind. His hand, instead of impacting on Angel's face as a tightly balled up fist, gently met her cheek, caressing the velvet skin. "Hey." He smiled, there were few better ways to awaken than this. "Would you kindly be slightly more gentle about it next time?" Slowly, memories returned to him, memories of what had passed within the last week. Roman, hunting him, and Angel, oh his lovely Angel, what she had shown him on that wonderful night in the playground. Then Akee, and their temporary alliance to hunt down a stronger foe, tracking him here, fighting. Angel was safe, so things had apparently turned out allright.
Then memories of strangers turning up, first to aid Roman, and then waking up to see an unfamiliar face that still spoke volumes to him. He was back on his feet in no time and charging at Rodney when Nathan lifted his cane and cut him off. "Do not go there, friend. Do not make me hurt you." The smile had faded, replaced by a mixture of sadness, necessity and just the hint of a threat. "Idid not come here to harm you, but if you force my hand by attacking my friend, I might have to." Adrian looked at Nathan, then at Rodney and finally the obstruction between him and his target. Two things held him back, he could sense the power in the obstacle, power the likes of which he had not encountered until now. But, more importantly, he felt some strange relation to it's wielder, and that this man's desire to avoid conflict was mutual. It scared him. "My sincerest apologies, it seems that my friends and I have overstayed our welcome. Seek us out in a few weeks' time, you'll know where to find us by then." And with that, the mismatched trio set for the door, politely but firmly refusing any incentive to remain. Adrian stood, staring dumbly after them for almost a full minute before returning his attention to the remaining company. "Someone mind telling what hell just happened?"

Alison entered the room, the cup which held the hot tea was clutched firmly in her hands, it would seem as though she had gotten there just in time to watch the trio make an exit.
" Guess you don't want your tea then?" She called out, unable to refrain herself from making a comment. Then shrugging her shoulders, Alison turned to Adrian, who to her dismay, and now slight discomfort had awoken from his unconscience slumber and was now standing awaiting answers in regards to his periodic time of absence.
" Don't look at me for any answers, I got here when things were slowing down. You guys may want to consider inviting me a little early next time you throw a party." She said, hoping he wouldn't recognize her from their last, very brief encounter.
" Sorry" Alison muttered suddenly, this time looking at Angel, she now answered Raven's question as a favor, " The man who owns this man is dead now." Was all she could say, her eyes moving down towards the floor.

Angel watched the trio, there was something about them, their aura gave off power. Good or bad, she didn't know, she just knew that however odd their sudden appearance was, she was grateful to them and their help, still, the power they emitted was a familiar one, and she couldn't help but wonder what they were.
It wasn't until Alison opened her mouth to speak did she move, she watched intently, trying to use the bit of powers she had taken from Roman during their fight to try and get a clear reading from her mind. But she got very little except that Alison's discomfort from being here in this room.
At the end of Alison's remarks Angel only nodded, it had been an exhausting day for her, what with Luke's death and with Roman's arrival in what was now her home tonight. Her body ached all over, and there was so many questions about the mysterious arrival of the men, she wondered if any of them even knew where to really start.

Raven seemed far from amused, having been blocked from leaving by one of the people in the room then suddenly the three men who seemed to know what was going on had all up and left at once. Turning to address Adrian she answered him "All I know is that someone seemed to be wailing on you so I tried to intervene" Looking around she was not sure she picked the right side in the fight, the kid had a lot of backup it seemed, the other guy was quickly run-off. Raven edited her thoughts to keep that tidbit of information to herself. "Those three...were they friends of yours?" Raven sighed, probably shouldnt get into this, none of her business really but frankly, finishing her run didn't seem to be on the cards and none of the people here seemed like they wanted to flay her alive so why not make an ally or two while she was at it? Walking back across the room she took up one of the unoccupied chairs, surveying the mess the brawl had left. Someone was going to have to help clean up, may as well be her.

The leader of the unknown group merely chuckled at her question, keeping his composure as light and cool as possible but even his attempts to hide the tension that still remained did little good. The fact that he simply refused to give her a straight answer did no good to relieve that tension at all. If anything it only made it worse, Akeelah knew that he was hiding something and she wanted to know what it was. Or at least if it was bad news for everyone else that were involved. What worried her most was the trio’s interest in Adrian. It was obvious that whatever these men were after involved her partner and if it was something foul the one who would be the worst off in the end would be Adrian. “Blind faith causes foolish men to do stupid things and die.” She replied, “It’s not that I am not grateful for you guys showing up and helping out like you did but I can’t trust someone who I don’t know that well.” Call her paranoid if you wish Akeelah didn’t really care. Trust was not something that she liked to take lightly, if this man really wanted her trust he had to earn it.
Adrian was finally waking up it seemed while all of this was going on. To Akeelah’s relief other than being extremely confused he sounded alright. Unfortunately he was doing a little too well, within moments of waking up Adrian was already back on his feet and tried to attack one of the men. In an instant Akeelah was on the move to stop him, but the trio’s leader was able to stop him by the time she took two steps in to help out. Then tension rose once again as both sides went into a standoff, both Adrian and the other men looking like they were about to kill one another if things escalated. Instinctively Akeelah’s hand moved towards the nearest knife, hopefully she wouldn’t need it but as things were going now either side might snap and attack the other. She wasn’t sure if she could stop them without much bloodshed but if it came down for a fight she was more than willing to jump right in. Luckily it didn’t come down to a fight, the trio were quick to leave after that, leaving everyone else confused and agitated. Adrian asked the girls what was going on but Akeelah didn’t even know how to answer that mess.
She sighed; this night had been one hell of a nightmare. Just one thing after another and she could feel herself being worn out and it wasn’t even daybreak yet. How exactly was she suppose to explain this to Adrian anyway? Someone else tried to do that instead, one of the girls that arrived later during the whole mess. Akeelah didn’t know who she was, but she didn’t mind the girl’s presence. She seemed to be a passerby that just got caught up in the whole situation, and by the sounds of it she was even more confused than they were. “I don’t know what they are,” she answered the girl, “This is the first time that we’ve seen them, maybe they are friends or maybe they are our enemies I don’t know and I don’t think we will find out until later.” There wasn’t much that she could do to find out where the strange men stood tonight. No doubt they would show up again later, it would only be a matter of time till their paths crossed again. For now they were gone so there was nothing that could be done about that, all that the remaining group could do was focus on what they should do now.
“And to answer your question Adrian, you were thrown out the window and hurt badly. While you were out cold those guys that just left showed up out of nowhere and managed to heal you up. You freaked out, got punched in the face and knocked out again, and then you were dragged back in here.” That about summed it up she thought. Or at least what she could think of, all this drama and confusion was starting to give her a headache and that only made her more agitated than she already was. “I could go into greater detail about all that but now is not the time, I’ll tell you about it later when my head stops hurting from all the confusion.”
