Akeelah watched the girl struggle with her captor, to her surprise it looked like the kid was going to break free if she kept it up all the hunter needed to do was offer up a little bit of assistance and the girl would be free. Sadly the chances of her being able to help get the girl free from the one holding her was going to be difficult when there was someone else there to block her from them. But the least she could do was make sure that the female demon who was standing guard wouldn’t try to prevent her escape. So while the other girl tried to break free Akeelah, running towards her opponent she attempted to stab the female. “Adrian take the girl and leave now!” she shouted at him. They needed to forget about Roman for now and just get out of here, saving the girl had to be their top priority now because if they tried to take on these monsters alone they were screwed. The best Akeelah could do now was hold the others off while Adrian and the girl made their escape. She just hoped that Adrian would listen to her.

As the struggle began and Roman's focus shifted Adrian was already moving forwards, driven by the grudge in his gut. He was mere feet from him as Angel began plunging the knife into his demonic flesh and, an instant later, both Adrian's feet left the ground and impacted on the point just below Roman's neck, propelling him backwards through the window behind him. The drop-kick had not been particularly well trained and wasn't a refined move, but it made up for both those lacks by brutality and sheer will to hurt. Akeelah was screaming something but it wasn't until after he landed on the ground again, whether or not his maneuver had been successfull, that the words sank in. Not that he would take heed of the words, they had a battle to fight and he was not leaving until otherworldly blood stained his hands.
His hand, still containing the wicked curved blade of his kukri knife lashed out at the nearest demon, not as a tool but as an extension of his will to take a life, to clean another stain off the face of the world. There was so much dirt that needed removing, but these stains were particularly stubborn.

Tiffany was distracted by the struggle the girl had with Roman; all her rageful screams, her attempts at hurting Roman she watched carefully while she, meanwhile, stood at guard for the hunters.
It was then she realized one of the hunters -a female human with black skin- charging onto her. A human would have a low chance of countering that move, but Tiffany was no human; with her demonic reflexes she caught the hunter's wrist that was holding the knife, just a second before the weapon could reach her. For a moment she held her firmly in place, gazing into the hunter's eyes with the icy ones of her own; she didn't need words to tell the human how much she would regret this action. Finally she swung a kick to the girl's stomach and let go of her wrist.
But while dealing with this one, Tiffany hadn't had time to stop the other hunter from jumping up and kicking Roman in the chest towards the open window behind him. She watched the almost slow-motion scene with shock, a mere human wasn't supposed to jump that high was he? Though this wasn't what really concerned her now but her friend's safety.
Before she had time to act, the hunter had suddenly come onto her with such rage and bloodthirst that Tiffany couldn't dare to hold him like she did with the other hunter. Instead, she bent her body daintly but quickly to dodge the attack, then turned back to the boy and screamed piercingly into his face to get him away with the shockwaves, which were strong enough to crack the walls. Tiffany used the little time she gained to disappear within her bats.

Liam watched with relief as Tiffany disappeared from the spot where she stood, he didn't want to risk her getting hurt by these two hunters, he himself had already had a taste of what the woman was capable of, and part of him secretly wanted to go resume where their fight had left off the last time.
However there were more pressing matters at hand, past the woman hunter, he was sure he heard the sound of Roman getting his ass kicked, he heard the girl he was after screaming out something and watched her as she took the blade from Roman and began making insicions into Roman's flesh, while the other hunter went after him. Who had made the final blow which pushed Roman out the open window which stood behind him as both had him to such a weak point, for now he would need to make things quick with the woman hunter. He wouldn't entertain her in fight for too long, not when his brother was in this much trouble.

Roman couldn't help but to feel pain as Angel's swing of the blade hit him hard in the chest, it felt a mix between a horrible sting and burning as the knife pierced through the flesh. He felt the impact of the blows moving him backwards, and could hear Angel screaming something intangible to him, feeling to unfocused to really be able to respond with anything due to the imense pain he felt.
At the same time as Angel worked on him with the blade which she had stolen from his rather firm grasp ( So he had thought), he felt Adrian's foot find it's mark where he had hit it with such a hard blow that Roman felt himself being submerged out the window where he felt himself quickly floating towards the ground where he had hit with a loud thud.
His body was bruised, battered, and broken. But the thrill of the fight gave him that much more of a will to continue, to keep going, to continue with this fight. And if he managed to get lucky, he would be able to take the girl home with him as well.

Angel had gotten one last stab in before she got to watch Roman fall out the window and plunge down towards the ground. She stood there staring down, her gaze cold and emotionless. She hoped he died, she hoped his life would end on this night, he had been the whole reason this whole mess had started, the reason that Luke was no longer here with her and this, Roman's death would be sure to be good enough satisfaction to his dying.
Angel turned around to watch how the others were doing, she felt like she was in a different world, her home which was once a peaceful and quite little farm house was now turned into what felt like a war zone. Angel turned her head downwards where something had caught her eyes, it was a photo within a glass frame. She bent down to pick it up, numbness hit once again as she held the picture of Luke in her hand, she noted the glass which covered his face had shattered and she wondered when it had hit the floor.
Angel looked up, her gaze let go of the coldness, instead it turned to an empty stare, if she had heard sound, it would not have mattered, looking at the demons all she could see was the battle in front of her, realizing at that moment that it would always be like this, no matter what demons would come in, they would kill, as long as they came there was going to be more who fell victim to this type of pain.

Her attack came short of hitting its target, the demon managed to catch Akeelah’s wrist before she could plunge her knife into the fiend’s heart. She glared at the demon, a low growl rising out of her throat in a challenge. If this creature thought that she could intimidate her just be this little act alone she had another thing coming. Akeelah was just about to draw her leg up to kick the woman away when her enemy kicked her instead, knocking her backwards onto the floor. Akeelah scrambled back onto her feet quickly to continue the fight by the time Adrian went after her target in a furious rage. Well wasn’t that convenient, but what happened to Roman and that other girl? She glanced quickly over where Roman and the girl last stood. From the looks of things the other girl managed to overpower the demon, with or without Adrian she didn’t know her attention had been on the female demon so she barely noticed. Roman was gone for now but Akeelah doubted that he would be gone for too long, they should still get out of here. Or at least try to get the girl out of this place before the other demons chose to come after her.
An ear piercing scream brought her attention back onto Adrian and her former opponent. In an instant the female demon was gone again; Akeelah glanced around quickly for the woman. Crap this wasn’t good, it was unlikely that the woman decided to run away she had to be somewhere in the house. With any luck she might have gone after Roman first and would come back for them later. Either ways it was best to leave now while they could. There was only one more demon that they needed to deal with if they had an hopes of escape. Her eyes once again settled on the lone fiend by the stairway. As much as she would love to kill him right now that would be impossible, the best she could do was hope to distract him long enough to allow Adrian and the girl the chance to escape.
“Adrian, get the girl out of here now.” She ordered, her voice low but loud enough for Adrian to hear.“I don’t care how you do it but just get her away from this place and fast. I’ll try to keep the others away while you two leave.” Akeelah took a step towards the new threat, already on guard in case he tried to jump them before they were ready to leave. “Don’t make me repeat myself.”

There was glee in his eyes as he saw Roman stumble backwards and through the glass, but he allowed it to distract him and thus he did not manage to cut the head from his next foe. Not the first time he had missed a foe with his initial strike, he was quick to strike again, his fore-head slamming into her face and breaking her delicate-looking nose, smiling in his heart as he felt the crimson drops colour his face, a smile that did not last long before her retaliation sent him backwards into the wall behind him. Akeela's words washed over him, he was in not condition to hear anything as the blood leaking from his ears testified. By sheer reflex more than any actual wish his hand flicked out and nailed one of the bats to the wall with one of his throwing-knives. He had not known exactly what he would be facing tonight, and he was glad he had come prepared for true combat.
Someone else appeared now and moved towards Akee, and Adrian was in no mood for anything of the sort. Blood trickled from his nose and ears, witnesses of the ruptured tissue within as he leapt upon Liam from behind, closing his arms and legs around Liam's neck and waist, respectively, whilst he sank his teeth into the demon's neck and tore loose a chunk of flesh near an artery. Adrian knew that his body had sustained about as much damage as it could take, and was determined to cause some harm before going down.

Breathing utterly hurt, Roman thought as his beaten chest heaved in an up and downwards motion. Slowly, while he could hear the comotion coming from inside the house, he forced himself to a sitting position where he took a moment to rest his eyes wandering up the length of the house where they landed on Angel who had helped the effort in putting him here.
" Bitch." He muttered finishing his effort to clear the fog out of his head so that now he was standing up completly. Roman continued to stare up at the house, he caught Angel's eyes and smiled slyly, he knew she would call for Adrian or one of the others and they would come running out. In fact he counted on it, that small house wasn't much of a place for battling with it's closed quarters, and small amounts of room, now all he would have to do was wait until Adrian joined him out here, which he had a feeling wouldn't be too long.

Liam watched as Tiffany disappeared and laid his eyes on Akee, he wanted to fight, he wanted to battle her again. She had proved to him since the last time that they had met that there were still humans out there that were worth wasting his time on. That and he needed to blow of some steam before he had to deal with Roman tonight.
Liam inched closer, his smile widened as the demon inside of him prepared for it's launch, it wanted to play, he wanted to play, to hear the young girl's voice as he made her scream again, this was what he wanted, however not what he got as suddenly he felt a heavy dead weight land on him and felt the boy's arms and legs wrap around him, like a child who wanted it's father to piggy back him. " Get off me." his voice now mirrored the annoyance he was feeling.
Struggling, Liam did what he could do to gain the upper hand and flick the flea off of him, he moved his body around violently trying to break the grip the kid had on him when he felt something, teeth piercing the skin on Liam's neck, tearing a patch off. Liam felt blood gushing out of the open wound, the child had done it. Liam felt his body chaning, forming into something not human, that same shield of fire that only Akeelah had seen in the graveyard formed around him, it was his natural defense mechanism, what he used to try to cause pain to his opponent while he continued to try to shake him off.
He felt the grasp break and he turned to face the hunter who dared try and challange him. Couldn't he see he was busy? Liam didn't have time to play petty little kids games with this one. Liam turned towards Adrian, his eyes were narrowed, the darkened features on his face were no hints of emotion, he was completely serious now. " Ever wondered if you could fly?" He asked, his eyes looking briefly at the opened windown where Roman had already fallen out of. The question was meant to be more of a threat, one which he voice right before his hands were placed on Adrian's chest, where with Liam's powers backing him up he used the strength he had to push the boy to where he watched him fly through the air, past the other girl, just narrowly missing her. Where he landed, Liam neither wondered or cared, he turned back to the other girl of interest and smirked, she had been saying that she thought they should escape, she was probably right, the others should have listened.

Angel's eyes widened in horror as she looked down and watch Roman beginning to get up. Although she didn't voice it, she agreed whole heartedly with the woman hunter, they needed to get the hell out of here. " He's up." She called back, but was unsure of if Adrian would hear her or not, when she looked back she could tell he was fully engaged in trying to bring down the other demon, and she looked back down at Roman who seemed pleased. She felt a surge of disgust, more than what she had felt before.
Once again Angel watched Adrian and the other demon continue to fight, they were laying into each other with hard force. She bit her lower lip in worry, she had recognized the demon before from when she had taken out her frustrations in Mitis Forest and he had scared her then.
As she watched, Angel was sure that Adrian was going to beat the demon right there and then. At least that's what she had hoped, however that seemed to change as when the thing somehow managed to knock Adrian off of his back he turned, looking like the most dangerous preditor she had ever seen. She watched him as the thing changed, his seemingly human form becoming consumed by fire, generating a heat that even though Angel was standing far away from him, could still feel. It was intollerable against the usual chill she felt. What made this scene harder to watch was when the thing placed his hands on Adrian and shoved him with strength enough that she watched horrified as he almost flew across the room and out the open window where Roman stood, a smile spread across his face as he waited.

She didn’t hear Adrian moving right away and that made her worry. Did he even hear her back there or was something wrong. She hoped that the scream didn’t rupture his ears or something worse; it would make things more difficult if that was the case. Sadly there was no time for her to think of a way out of it with her new opponent was approaching. Akeelah’s grip tightened on her weapon as she returned his smile with a piercing cold glare. Don’t lose your cool this time, just weaken him and then get the hell out of here. she reminded herself. The urge to kill was rising within her but she knew better than to try and pull off what she had done in the graveyard again. She would still go all out with him, she had to, he was far too strong to try and take out without putting her best effort into it but the likelihood of killing him tonight was slim. If she could just weaken him enough before the others recovered fast enough to retaliate then her group might just make it out of this alive.
Akeelah stood her ground and waited for her enemy to make his move first but Adrian already leapt on him before the demon could do anything. Fuck he didn’t hear her after all now what the hell was she suppose to do? This is the LAST time I am working with ANYONE she thought bitterly. The one time she offered to help someone and already she was dragged into serious trouble and had no other choice but to retreat only to find retreat almost impossible. Screw it, if no one was going to listen then she would just have to deal with shit by herself. Just as the demon threw Adrian out the window she would run towards him, her strike aimed to stab him in between the ribs before he had the chance to counter her. All the while trying to ignore the searing heat surrounding him. If she had any hopes of finishing this monster she had to do it fast the odds weren’t in her favor with him in his true form and with no back up at that.

Adrian registered very little, it felt as though there a wall of glass between him and the world, trapped in a bell-jar that barely let any sound or sight through. His body lost the strength to cling to his target, he had a taste of iron in his mouth and it smelled like someone had burned their barbecue. Things shifted, he felt something push against his chest and suddenly things were moving away from him fast, he saw Angel, smiled and reached for her but she was moving upward so quickly. Was he awake? Was he dead?
He felt something against his back and everything stopped moving. He was tired, he needed to sleep. He saw a ace, leering above him. He knew that face, he couldn't tell from where, but he knew it. He didn't like it. Everything was moving in slow motion, himself not least, but he had had the taste of blood and wanted more. Up on his feet, hook to the center of the face's stomach, knee to the groin and teeth to his jugular vein. He was thirsty, thirsty and mad. If he were a demon, a creature of evil like the face or whoever, he was going to take as many, or as much, as he could with him before he went down. Maybe he would meet his real parents beyond. Would he be happy then?

Roman watched as Adrian came plunging out of the open window where he glided down quickly towards the ground. Finally, the kid was his and there was no way anyone was going to get in the way of this. This whole time all Roman had really wanted was for it to be just him and this kid, no one else to get in the way, no one else to worry about. Just the two of them, one on one no interruptions this time.
Roman's jaw dropped as he watched Adrian rising from the ground as quickly as what he did, he just didn't give up, he came towards Roman, attacking him. Roman kept his eyes on the open mouth which attempted to (from what Roman could see) bite him? Before Adrian had gotten a chance to connect his teeth with Roman's flesh, Roman used a defensive procedure, he stepped to the side, caught Adrian by one of his arms and twisted the arm back as he stood behind him, holding his arm there wondering what to do with him next. He decided he would release him, it would be less fun if he held him like that and bet on him, he wanted for Adrian to fight back. But not too much, he thought as he hauled his arm back and punched the kid square in the face as soon as he turned.

Liam felt the jab of the woman's blade just as he pushed Adrian out of th window from the second story of the house. He let out a surprised gasp in pain as the thing lodged into his rib cage and then ripped it out of him as he turned to look at his attacker in the face while the other opponent landed. " So, becoming a backstabber?" Liam asked, the amusement which usually backed his words, on the contrary, his words were packed with annoyance and seriousness, his flat tone representing the unpleasantness he was feeling at the time.
" Look, kid." He started, his dark eyes peering at her with contemptness, " I'm not in the mood for games right now." He couldn't help himself, he inched closer, moving his feet with small paced steps, trying to set a dangerous mood so as to make this huntress back off, " I really don't feel like kicking your ass right now." These words he narrowed his brow, his eyes nothing but slits with the glare he gave, if looks could kill, which in his class of demon they couldn't, he was sure he would have killed her on the spot, however with his brother in as much danger as he was, he really didn't have time to entertain in a fight, he needed to get Roman, and get out of here.
