Gibbering Beasts

A Gibbering beast is an oozelike creature covered with eyes and mouths. It serves little purpose beyond spreading murder and madness, mouthing nonsensical yet disturbing verses. There are several kinds of these beasts, all of which can see in every direction at the same time because of all there eyes, and can see in the dark.
Gibbering beasts spontaneously arise when creatures, especially sentient ones, die in a place touched by the far realm.
For the most part, gibbering beasts speak only nonsense. Occasionally, a gibbering beast speaks an intelligible word or phrase, usually mingled with its mad gibbering. It is said that the word or phrase could be a clue or warning, or it could just be lucky mix of random words.

Gibbering Mouther
The gibbering mouther is the only one of these beasts who walks, or slithers, on land. Creatures who approach it will oddly feel like there is uneven terrain under there feet and as if they cant get good balance. This is caused by the gibbering mouthers aura which actually warps the ground around it. Ones you come close enough it will use what is called its gibbering power, all of the nonsense words its many mouths are spewing forth suddenly echo loudly inside your head. These abilities mixed with the nasty teeth that row each of its mouths make for a very dangerous creature.

Gibbering Abomination
Unlike the gibbering mouther this beast floats about a foot off the ground. These beasts use their gibbering power frequently and in there aura a persons perspective is effected making it harder for them to hit a target or dodge an incoming attack. If it can get close enough to a dazed opponent it will try to use its eye of despair to immobilize them. If it does manage to get someone immobilized it will whip them to death with its many tentacles.

Gibbering Orb
By far the biggest and most dangerous of the gibbering beasts. Gibbering orbs are denizens of the Far Realm that wander the planes and the places between, consuming living creatures. Although they appear insane, gibbering orbs are perversely rational and they pursue secret missions all on their own.
Like the rest of the beasts it will use its gibbering power to speak its constant nonsense into your head. The biggest difference with this beast is that it has no aura. however substituting for that aura is the ability to shoot rays of energy from its eyes. some of these rays will only make you feel weak or disorient you but the more powerful ones will eat through your flesh for minuets after they have hit you. Most people don't live to tell about an encounter with a gibbering orb.
