Angel felt Adrian's arm as it wrapped around her and despite her best efforts to stop, she let herself lean into him, hiding her face in the crease of his neck. " I'm sorry." She said, her voice was small, she was surrendering all her resolve. All she wanted was for the pain of losing Luke to disappear, a task that would only be done once Roman was dead. She still blamed him, if he hadn't of made that threat in Justice's facility she wouldn't of went to warn him, and he wouldn't have saved her from from that small bullet which ended up taking his life.
Angel lifted her head up off of Adrian's shoulder and looked up into his face. " I'm sorry." she said again, not knowing what more to say, she had only felt this type of pain, the kind that left nothing but confusion, and emptiness inside and that was when her mother had been murdered, and her sister being kidnapped. Those were things she tried hard not to think of, but being here, at Luke's funeral none the less, brought back memories of that day.
What the hell.... Angel heard the old woman who stood beside them, though she only gasped, she could hear the thought inside her head and she turned her head to look over her shoulder only to see the coffin lid rising. In confusion, she looked back at Adrian, the color was probably drained from her face, she couldn't tell. Her first thought was Roman, this was probably some sick twisted idea he had for fun, but the figure that stood before them all was very unlike Roman, it was Luke, a very pale faced Luke, but it was him none the less.

Adrian felt selfish, and vaguely guilty about it. But when she leaned into him and accepted his embrace, his pain lessened in light of the knowledge that she seemed to find some small amount of comfort in his gesture. He was glad. Little whispers, apologies for things she were not master of. Slowly, he began to understand her pain, his parents had been his world for so many years, and if some lesser accident had cost them their lives he would probably be worse off that she was. His mental health had never been that stable, roiling madness and anxiety only barely kept under bounds by the vaguest sense of empathy and sheer force of will. But now he had met her...
Someone ejaculated a mumbled exclamation behind him and a scent of growing unease stained the air. Feeling Angel shift against him he raised his gaze and let his jaw drop. This was bad. His instincts peeked out of his subconsciouss and he felt relieved that the annoying preacher was between whatever that thing was and Angel, for whatever it was it was not their mayor, let alone human. "Run, take my parents with you. I'll hold it." It wasn't much of a plan but it was all he could come up with. He cursed himself for not bringing a weapon but perhaps... since the incident at Angel's house he had felt different, and maybe some of what had changed would help him. Only thing was, Angel didn't seem the type to back down when she was threatened, least of all when people she cared for where in the zone of harm. That could prove a problem.

" Sorry." Skyler muttered as he whiped the tears as they released themselves from Lena's cheeks. He took a drag of his ciggarette, her answer should have made him weary of her, however he couldn't help but feel bad for her.
However it was a feeling that couldn't last long for he felt himself being distracted by the crowd of mumbling people standing behind him and he felt himself turning to see what was causing the commotion, only to see a fully awake Luke, his stance, everything about him seemed to be like that of something unnatural.

Luke looked around him, all eyes seemed to be looking upon him like they had seen a ghost. With their hearts beating wildly as though the crowd was one, they smelt so appitizing, so pleasing. He wanted them, to taste the sweet nectar of life which ran like rivers beneath the flesh. Oh what he wouldn't do to taste. As he thought this, he felt something change inside his mouth and two pointed sharp teeth protruded which he showed off as he hissed at the crowd. He was like a wild animal, his primal urges to feed taking over any bit of his will, and he gave into his craving when he took hold of the priest from behind and sank his teeth into the unsuspecting man in the neck
He drank, just getting a little taste of the blood, before he pushed him away. He began to feel threatened, their was those in the crowd who were gonna try and attack, he could feel it. Well, let them try he thought, he was anticipating finally getting to try out this new brute strength he felt running through him.

Lena swore in Gaelic and stared at Luke. She tossed the cigarette to the ground and sighed. "Well there goes that plan." she mumbled. She looked at Skyler and smiled softly at him, "New born vampire, if you don't want to get killed or fed on, it might be safer to leave." she said, grabbing a 10 inch blade from her thigh high boots. It was sterling silver, even though she had never gone up against a vampire before, she knew how to kill them, she just hoped that she wouldn't have. The town had lost this man once, she didn't want them to loose him again.
She bent down and picked up the cigarette, which, miraculously, was still lit. She cleaned it off and took a drag.

Rupert found himself frozen, not knowing if he should run or stand here and wait for his younger brother to make some sort of move, to prove that he was actually a threat.
He recognized his brother's condition almost immediately, he was a vampire, this in itself would not be good, if he was a vampire now, that would only mean that there were others, this gave him a nervous thought and irradicately he turned, searching around him before he turned back to look at the Luke, not wanting to believe that there was a threat but getting prepared to deal with one if the need came about.

Rose watched her creation intently, interested in the newborn's behavior. He brought her back to when she had been born, not her human birth, no after Liam, that was an age she chose not to remember, but when she had come out of her dead state. Unlike Luke however, she did not have the tempting blood vessles walking around when she had awoken.
The newborn was getting ready to attack, something that made Rose think that maybe it hadn't been the smartest idea to have changed someone so popular in the town, however it had been done, and she wasn't about to let the poor dear just die out. He had proved that he had deserved a immortal life by his actions at the Opera house so she had chosen to give him a reward so to speak. Still, she needed to be cautious in how far she would let him go, she couldn't have him exposing their existence among the other towns people.

Reacting swiftly Raven ducked behind a tombstone out of eyeline with the vampire and began unbuttoning her coat, "fuck me, sticking around was a bad idea" she said to herself. Her hands were cold and she hadn't banked on being in a hurry with wet hands and slick plastic buttons to slow her progress. Realising she would have a hell of a time drawing the sword she poked her head back round and surveyed the situation, those who could stand and fight seemed to be drawing weapons, those who couldn't were trying to flee. Raven worried for those who were fleeing, hoping the vampire would not outflank the agressors and try to pick off one of the weaker humans. Seeing him take down the priest with very little effort disturbed her. Snapping the clip which held her glock in place and sliding the safety to the off position she emerged from her hiding place and levelled the gun on the vampire. This wouldnt kill him but it sure as fuck would slow him down, the rest of her knives were accessible at a moments notice but she hoped the fight would be over quickly. Slowing her breath she squeezed the trigger and watched as the bullet grazed his left arm, fuck he was fast, that shot would have felled a human. This was going to be a rough day.

Stuck between that of a small naive child, and a logical adult, Angel stood frozen on the spot. " Luke?!" She breathed quietly, for it was Luke standing before the crowd, however at the same time it was not.
Her first urge was to run, however not flee from the rising dead like all those who scattered frantically to make their way out of the graveyard, however towards Luke. Of course he would look like a lunatic at first glance, after all he had just pushed his way out of his what was supposed to be his own coffin, that in itself would have made anyone go a bit mad. These were thoughts that the naive part of her thinking, the part that hoped that maybe, just maybe this Luke standing before her was real, that maybe she would still have what she considered her father.
It was the logical voice inside that told her that he was dangerous. It tried to make some sort of sense of the situation. Number one being, the dead didn't just rise there was unnatural forces being played with here and they just so targeted Luke, to send a message to all of us maybe? It didn't know, she didn't know and didn't want to run away just yet.
" I can't just run away." She said to Adrian, her eyes catching that of the pale faced man who looked like some sort of animal with his teeth protruded, " I need....." She breathed and pulled out her hand gun, it had been the first thing she seen before leaving the house today, she would use it to keep Luke at bay however she would not use it before she knew, before she was sure that this Luke was nothing more than another creature, he deserved that.

Trinity got confused when the people started to gasp. She couldn't see the coffin and what was happening from the place she stood, then she heard a hiss and everyone started to run away screaming. When the area was deserted, she froze with the now clear sight: A vampire had grabbed the priest from behind, sucking his blood from his neck. Then he tossed the poor old man away, and Trinity recognized him in terror: It was none other than Luke McCoy who was supposed to be lying in his now open coffin, dead. But who had done this? When? Had there been any vampires in the town before?
Lots of questions like these filled her mind instantly, but there was no time to just stand there. This creature was no longer the old Luke who everyone knew and loved; he desired to suck dry the people which he used to protect.
There were only a few people left in the graveyard now including Angel McCoy, Professor McCoy and the demon Trinity had been watching. Some hunter she didn't know tried to shoot Luke but to no avail. She knew of a way to stop him for good, for that she needed to use her demonic powers but there weren't many people to see anyway. So she raised her hand up in the air; the rain stopped, the dark clouds scattered away and the sun showed its face once again.

Well, there went meatshield number uno, which meant that everyone but the annoying priest were now in that much greater danger. Not much to be done about the priest, the only purpose he served now was the distraction afforded the creature who had drunk him. Adrian's first instinct was to charge the creature and break it, but he realized that he was at a major disadvantage. His parents where there, as was Angel and the slightest error on his part could lead to devastating consequences, he was trapped with both fight and flight being out of the question. Instead he resigned himself to tking a defensive stance in front of Angel. She wasn't leaving and he couldn't make her, nor would his parents run without an explanation or... "Mom, Dad! Get in the car and drive, now!" It might not work, they were a little to keen on his wellbeing for the good of their own. The suit was chafing and restrictive, he couldn't understand how people could actually enjoy wearing those. That was when the clouds broke.
Shielding his eyes and letting out a surprised cry Adrian fell to his knees. His sensitivity to light had increased a lot. He blinked a few times, letting his eyes adjust before they once again fell on the creature in front of them.

Skyler glanced over at Trinity just as her outstretched arm reached upwards, it was also at that moment he realized the clouds were moving and the sun was being unveiled, Is she?.... No. It was impossible, no one could control the weather, but then again no one would have believed he was half demon either, the way he went about things.
Skyler kept his eyes on Trinity, it didn't matter, obviously by this act she was on their side, so there was no need to be on the defensive about her- yet. Right now there was more gripping matters at hand. Number one being, what the hell happened to Luke McCoy?

Several weaker looking humans remained, fearful that they would be harmed Raven sprinted across to where they were standing, Taking the older male by the hand and instructing him to hold onto his wife, she in turn took the hand of a young girl who had lost her parents in the rush, Raven instructed them to follow the path and turned back to the crowd, keeping her gun trained on the group ready to lay some suppressing fire if need be. If they were going to turn on anyone it would have been these people and she wasnt about to leave them in harms way. Slowly they tracked across towards the line of cars at the edge of the plot. Their progress was hampered by the young girl who was very unsure of following the instructions Raven gave. Keeping her body between the vampire and her wards in case he noticed the precious lives she protected. Tugging at the buttons on her coat with her free hand, desperate to obtain access to her sword her small group picked its way towards the cars.

Lena let the cigarette hang from her half opened mouth, "The bloody hell?" she asked, gawking at the sky. It was in the evening, how on earth could the sun be there. She then spotted the girl, she wanted to stop her from killing the man the town had just received again, but she was more than fascinated by her actions.
Not know what to really do, she just stared at her. "How in the bloody Hell is she doing that?" she asked, certain that she was some sort of demon, but in all her years she had never seen anything like this before. For once, Lena was torn. Let this woman kill the newly risen Luke, or save the newly risen Luke. The town had lost him already once, and now they would loose him again. She scanned the crowd, where the fuck was his sire?

If he had of had a beating heart, Luke's would have sounded like that of a drummer from a heavy metal band, the more the crowd moved the harder their hearts worked, pumping that sweet red liquid of life which made him crave to sink his teeth into their skin and hold them there until he could drain them of their blood, until their was nothing left but an empty vessel.
He craved one of the younger ones, their blood smelled sweet, like it would to a diabetic who craved sweets. He could imagine it's warmth, the feel of it pouring into his mouth, and the crave it would fulfill. The only question was; which one, who got to be the chalice filled with the wine?
A thin cloud of smoke coming from his shoulder told him he would get no chance, he felt himself begin to burn and he let out an anguished scream of pain. He was watching the sun come out and it hurt. Luke took one last look at the crowd and then briefly, ever so briefly looked up towards the sun he would need to make a run for it, he would need to push off his craving for now and feed later. Safety was his new mission and he would need to get out of the sun as soon as possible, if it caused this much pain, he would hate to see what would happen if he let himself stand out much longer.
With this thought backing him up, he looked at the crowd, cursing loudly as he did so. Turning he felt a surge of energy and he ran away. If he had of seen himself while he ran, he probably would have amazed even himself for he ran so quickly there was nothing to be seen but a blurr of streaks left behind.
