Angels Most deities have angel servants. Although their appearances can vary, all angels are vaguely humanoid in form, with masculine or feminine features and lower bodies that trail off into flowing energy. Angels exist as expressions of the Astral sea, sentient energy in humanoid form. They most often serve the gods, so some believe that the gods created them. In reality, angels are powerful astral beings who appeared during the first moment of creation of the Astral Sea. Different types of angels have different callings; they are literally manifestations of celestial vocations. During the great war between the gods and the primordials, angels offered themselves as warriors to the gods that best encompassed their callings, and today they continue to act as mercenary forces for anyone willing to meet their price - be it wealth, power, or a cause worthy of there attention. Angels are more involved in the world and other planes than deities and exarchs. they act both openly and secretly, often acting as emissaries, generals, and even assassins. Attachments:

Angels of Valor, though courageous and fierce, are the weakest and most numerous of the angels called to serve a given deity. They are the soldiers of the gods, serving in vast armies and fallowing the commands of mortal priests or powerful angels. When a cleric needs a number to get the job done, angels of valor offer the best aid. They employ straightforward melee tactics, wading into fray and making use of a combination of basic attacks and powers. Angels of valor collaborate well with others of their kind, flanking enemies and concentrating their attacks on the most powerful opponent They do not have the ability to fear and are immune to fire. Angels of Protection serve as bodyguards to important persons and others who summon them. They also guard temples and other sites tied to the deities they serve. An angel of protection never steps outside the role of guardian and caretaker. Its ward, the person it is meant to protect, is often chosen for it by its god or the one who summons it. It is said that no angel of protection has ever left its ward except by being killed in that wards defense. Normally, only a god or powerful servitor of a god can assign duties to an angel of protection. Sometimes. simple prayer is enough to gain such protection for a brief period. If such a prayer is ever answered, it is important that the recipient be careful not to use the angel's talents in a way that fails to serve its true master. Attachments:

Angels Of Battle are the commanders behind the angels of valor, but they also lead cadres of mortals in combat. An angel of battle employs a combination of airborne and ground based tactics. Against tough adversaries, the angel will take to the air, using its reach to stay away from melee attack range. The angel reserves its "Storm of Blades" technique for the end of battle, when it believes it wont need to fly anymore, either because victory or death is imminent. As their name implies, angels of battle lead forces into combat. more powerful than angels of valor, they fulfill a similar function but are called upon to fight greater threats. When a god sends an angel of battle to tend to a situation, its unlikely the god desires to deliver a message or negotiate. Angels of battle are harbingers of war. Storm of Blades technique is used when an angel of battle is nearing victory, or defeat. As a last effort, Razor sharp blades will explode from its wings. The fings will grow back with time, given the angel was victorious. Attachments:

Angels of VengeanceThe most powerful of the angels. Angels of vengeance strike down those who wrong their deity. They also punish disloyalty and failure among the devout. An angel of vengeance focuses on a single target in battle. It evokes its sign of vengeance at the start of battle, then teleports to its target attacking quickly. It fights its foe with utter disregard of the event around it. Deities send angels of vengeance to punish those who have defied or angered them. A god might also send them to test one who is in danger of falling off the deities path, showing no mercy for failure. Influential members of a clergy use a ritual to call forth their deity's wrath in the form of one of these angels Attachments:
