Trinity had brought the injured human to the small flat that she used to stay with her father in their visits to the human world, and layed the man on her bed. She'd used her demonic powers to heal him completely, then replaced his bloody clothes with the old ones of her father, and she'd been watching over the man sleeping on her bed since then. She could sometimes hear the librarian mumble about angels and demons in his sleep, sweating and probably seeing nightmares. It had had to be such a trauma for him, Trinity guessed, any human would be frightened about it. There was nothing she could do now except waiting for the man to wake up.

As the energy that Trinity had began to flow threw him, he was becoming more aware of himself and his own inner conciousness. Slowly but surely he felt the wounds where the demon before had so cruely had shoved the end of her... Or his, dagger into him, not caring what this action would do.
He could feel his heavy eyelids slowly begin to lighten, and now with very minimal effort he was finally able to open his eyes, where he seen Trinity's face looking down at him, the light behind her making him mistake her for some kind of heavanly presence, like an Angel guiding him back from his earthly home.
He shook his head, clearing out and lifting the fog from his head, he noticed that the face he was looking at was Trinity, one of the best students in school. He muttered her name and tried to sit up, to his dismay though, he wasn't that strong yet, so he laid there and asked the first question that came to mind, " What happened?" He asked, noticing he was no longer covered in blood.

Trinity smiled at the man. "It's okay, Professor." She said in a soft, comforting tone and told him about how she found him. "The hospital was too far and I was too scared to bring you there, so I brought you to my own apartment. I took off your bloody clothes to clean them for you, and luckily I know a thing or two about treating wounds." She tried not to seem nervous as she said that; of course, her powers were beyond such humble words and there weren't even scars left on the teacher's body now. "It was a demon who attacked you, wasn't it?" She asked, changing the subject before the librarian could suspect anything. "I also saw a hunter beside you there..." Just then, the sound of a tea kettle was heard. "Excuse me." Trinity got up and went to the kitchen, then returned with a cup of warm tea for the teacher who still seemed a bit dazed. "You can stay here until you feel better, Professor McCoy. Then we can inform the authorities about what you've got through today. I'm sure the Light Givers can take care of it."

Rupert looked up and Trinity and smiled, he had noticed that one major difference between this school and the others he had been too was that the students here had a very mature feel to them, also, they all seemed to be respective of their authority figures as well.
His eyes lingered for a moment, " It was a demon I believe, I was just about to leave..." His voice faltered, " He tricked me... He made me think my niece was there...." Once again, the librarian lost his voice as he recieved the warm tea from Trinity, appriciating it's warmth, " Thank you." He muttered drinking the tea.

Trinity narrowed her eyes as she listened to the librarian's story. A lesser demon wouldn't be able to trick someone with illusions like that, so it had to be an elite from the depths of the demon world like herself. She sighed. Some strong demons had been appearing and causing problems in the town nowadays, that was the reason the head of the Light Givers, Luke McCoy had put up some new strict rules. Still, Trinity decided she had to get her hands on the matters, that was what her father would do too. From now on, she would start going out at nights and try to save as many humans as she could, like she saved Mr Rupert McCoy. It would be risky to show her powers outside, but if it was for the mortals' sake, so be it. She could always hide herself in a storm she would create.
Just then, her thoughts slided back and gathered around a surname. The same name had gone for two different men in her mind, and she'd realized it just now. "You're related to Luke McCoy, right Professor?" She asked. Now that she looked at his face again, they looked alike too. Trinity was probably the only one in the school who couldn't see through this basic fact before, and she felt silly for this.

Rupert looked up from the cup of tea he still held within his hands, he took his glasses off with his free hand. " Yes, in fact I am." He smiled at her observation. " We're brothers." He added, he felt he was regaining his strength as he sat here, flashes of his situation in the cathedral came to him, he had been sure he had been stabbed then and he put his hand on his stomache where he remembered the knife plunging into him.
Suddenly a name came to him, he didn't know how, or why he would even remember it, but the name sent shivers down his spine. " Have you ever seen a man by the name of Roman in town?" He asked. He felt silly asking such questions, but he remembered the face of the man who had stabbed him, he was sure he had seen him before.

Trinity gave him a puzzled look, not sure if she heard it right. "Roman?" There was only one person she knew with that name, almost every demon knew the younger of the Fire Hell brothers. She shuddered; so Roman Delowski was down in the human world. It was probably the explanation to the mess the town was currently in... And thinking that the man sitting before her was attacked by him was just horrifying; it was lucky of her to find him in one piece.
As regretful as she was for lying on this fact, she had to hide her true identity no matter what. "I don't think I ever heard that name." Trinity said. "But he must be dangerous if he's the one who fooled you like that sir. And you were really lucky." At least this was true. "Why did he choose you, do you think?" She asked, trying to learn the demon's intention without attracting Rupert's suspicion. "Forgive me for asking Professor, but do you think you have... something valuable for him?" She was sure a strong demon like Roman Delowski wouldn't target a single human unreasonably.

His glance averted downwards. She had asked him the one question he honestly couldn't answer, and he usually bragged about the fact that when it came to the unnantural, he was the go to person. " I don't know." He said finally. " as if he was admitting some grim defeate. " It's got something to do with my niece though... I think. I mean, why else would he have changed into her?"
He found himself fiddling with the cup in his hands nervously, smoothing the contours of the smooth ceremic. He thought hard, trying the remember through the haze his mind brought to him about that afternoon at the Cathedral, something struck him, something important he thought. " If he had wanted to, he could have killed me." He realized. " He didn't stab for the kill, it seemed he did want me alive."

He was right, a demon like Roman could have killed the Professor easily, that wound she'd healed was too basic for that kind. His niece?.. Since they were brothers with Luke McCoy, it had to Luke's daughter, Angel. Trinity had seen her in the school a couple of times and had immediately sensed the magical aura she possessed, then there had come the news of her murdering someone and she couldn't be seen in school ever since. Perhaps in the center of all these dark events, stood Angel McCoy. Just then, a ringing sound came from Rupert's bloody clothes that she'd took off earlier and placed it on a chair. She stood up and examined the clothes with her hands, then found the librarian's cellphone and held it out to him with a modest smile. "Here."

Rupert jumped at the sound of the ringing. " Thank you." He said taking a look at the display which had read his niece's name. With trembling hands he picked the phone up and put it up to his ears. As he listened to the voice from the other end he felt all color drain from his face, leaving his skin pale. A bead of sweat played upon his forehead and he became quiet.
" Don't do anything stupid." He said to the girl promising to meet up with her later.
He hung the phone up and dropped it beside him and looked up at Trinity. He was silent, they had just been talking about his brother earlier, and the phone call he had just gotten was Angel, his niece telling him he was dead. Now nothing but a memory.
He took a deep breath, he realised how awkward he must have looked right now, but there was nothing he could say, no words came to mind about how he felt of the situation, just the bitter shock which was beginning to set in.
