The rules of the Demon World

[Liam]

Liam walked up behind his brother who stood quietly watching as the waves crashed towards the large rocks. He took a drag of his cigarette as he noticed there was something different with Roman, the younger of the two brothers.

Is Roman smiling? Liam thought wondering what had gotten into his brother as he slowly took another deep inhale of his cigarette. " Roman." He said standing next to his brother now. " What's up bro?" He asked.

[Roman]

Roman turned his head to look at his brother- " What?" He asked and than slightly shook his head, " Nothing." He lied as he ran a hand smoothing out his slick black hair. " I was just thinking about the mess that would come about if I dived into the ocean." He laughed nervously, " That and I think I may have found what's going to help us take over the world. Either that or a nice play toy."

Roman thought of the girl and their brief meeting up in Ferrium Hill and smiled more to himself than to his older brother who continued to drag off his cigarette.

He could see the questiong in his brother's eyes as Liam let the smoke blow out of the whole in his mouth and probably without realizing it blew it in Roman's face making his nose cringe at Liam's taste of cigarettes. " You see I met this girl....."

[Liam]

The smile that was about to creep upon Liam's face quickly disolved and turned into a scowl. " Roman." He began sternly, " I don't want to hear that you're off playing house with some human girl, you've been brought to the human world because you have a job to do, and that job bro does not include fraternizing with the prey."

Liam caught the slight look of resentment in Roman's eyes. " Besides, remember your last relationshilp- Stacy, the ex lover of the demon Lord?" Liam shuddered and looked at Roman again, this time his eyes softening a bit for his younger brother, " That, didn't end well.... In fact I don't think it did end did it?"

[Roman]

Roman shuddered as Liam reminded him of his past fling. " Ugh." He sounded of the overly perky blonde demon from down in the demon relm. " Please don't remind me of Stacy. It ended for me a long time ago, but the twit was so dumb she probably doesn't even realize that I've left the demon world."

Roman sighed and looked up at the sky. " I suppose she'll find out soon enough though." He laughed as his mind remenissed to his past relationship with Stacy his ex girlfriend.

" You did what?" Roman yelled outraged as the woman stood looking up at him almost like a deer being hit by a car.
" I'm sorry Roman, it was an accident, Lord Lucifer and I were just having a couple of drinks and...well, one thing led to another and next thing I knew we were......"
" Just shut up. I don't want to hear it." Roman retorted, " I've given up everything to be with you, and you lied to me, you told me there was nothing there between you two. And then you come to me and tell me you had sex with him?" ........


Roman folded his arms across his chest and let out yet again another deep sigh. " Yeah that was a relationship from hell."

[Liam]

" Yeah, it was." Liam agreed dragging on his cigarette again as he chuckled, all this talk about relationships made him think of Tiffany and her mission. He looked up at Roman again, " Seen Tiff." He said.

He looked at Roman who he could tell was wondering what his point was and he continued, " She killed a bunch of people today. Ummmm....." Liam trailed off and was not going to go any further, that was until Roman kept provoking him. " Fine, he said, I ain't gonna lie little brother," He continued, " I'm interested, but that is, if it's o.k. with you."

[Roman]

Roman looked at his eldest brother and began laughing, " GOOD LUCK." He blurted out and then seeing the look on Liam's stern and serious face he smoothed out his jacket and began rubbing his foot into the ground.

" I don't mind, she might though." He added still trying hard to keep his amusement to himself. " Look bro, if you like her just go for her." He said, meanwhile thinking that he should be taking his own advice. " I mean, what's the worse that could happen? She say no and than leave you standing like an idiot."
