Remembering Days that Passed

[Roman]

He could of appeared in Ferrum Hills easily, but instead Roman decided to walk and enjoy the scenery, he was thinking about his grandfather the great Berial as he made his way to the very spot where his father had been defeated by the great demon hunter Dante.

" Grandpa." A younger image of himself said joyfully as the small child was swooped up by the giant lion like demon. " I missed you gramps." The black haired child said as he laid his face comfortably against his grandather's warmth. " What did you do today?"
" Well Roman, I killed myself a demon hunter." The giant answered proudly.
" Grandpa, I want to be just like you when I grow up." The child said to the demon with affection.

" I still do Gramps." Roman said quietly as if his grandfather was at that very spot, walking beside him. " But unlike you, I will defeat Dante, and I will avenge your death. I will make you proud of me Grandpa." Roman said quietly as he stopped in the middle of the battle ground where his grandfather had died.

[Angel Killer]

Angel and Alison had split up before Angel decided to take a walk to Ferrum Hills leaving her car parked a while back. As she edged closer she could see the faint outline of a man standing in the middle of the area by himself.

That's odd. She thought as she walked closer before recognizing the fairly good looking man, " Roman." She breathed and stopped dead in her tracks as she ran a hand through her long black hair and walked closer.

Angel stood behind him now, it was strange how he did not seem to notice her. " What ya doing?" Angel asked laying a hand on his shoulder noticing how warm he was as she also noticed she had made him jump. " Sorry to scare you." She apoligized sweetly.

[Roman]

Roman turned around quickly as he turned to face the young girl who broke him out of his chain of though. " S' okay." He muttered feeling as though she was breaking him out of a daze, " I was just thinking." Roman answered smiling nervously at the who he was now recognizing as the girl on the path.

" Don't you have school or something?" He asked chuckling as he took the girl's facial features.

[Angel Killer]

Angel folded her arms across her chest slightly insulted, I hope to god he doesn't think I'm some kid. She thought in her head as she looked at Roman, her eyes searching his face.

She had never seen any man who seemed to have taken care of themselves as good as what Roman did, she found him intriguing as she studied his chissled jaw, his tall lean body that was wrapped in his long black leather trench coat. She felt almost self conscious as she took in his blue eyes and noticed him still staring at her wondering what she was doing there.
" Sorry." Angel muttered suddenly feeling a warm flush in her face, " I ummm....." She stuttered as she felt a sudden weakness around him.

[Roman]

Roman chuckled, " You o.k.?" He asked the girl who stood before him, " You look a little pale."
God I'm good. He thought playfully as he continued wathcing the girl with slight amusement as he watched the affect he had on her.

" Maybe you need to sit down." He offered pouring on more charm as he gently pulled her by the arm and sat her down on a step which sat higher up off the ground.

[Angel Killer]

" I'm fine." Angel muttered slightly embaressed by her sudden weakness. " I think I'm coming down with the flu or something." she lied as she felt a slight chill run down her spine despite the warmth of Roman's skin from the hand he laid on her shoulder as he took her to sit down.

She eyed the man suspiciously, " What are you doing up here anyway?" She asked him, " It's a little far from town and all, I didn't think anyone would ever come up here again." She said raising an eyebrow at the man who was now sitting down next to her.

[Roman]

Nosey aren't we? Roman thought as he mouth formed a sweet grin, " I always come up here." He said, " As a matter of fact, this just so happens to be my favorite spot. Except my island. he thought again wondering how his demons were handling themselves on the deserted Island without him there.

Roman folded his hands across his stomache and laid back on the steps, underneathe his jacket, was his chest revealed beneath a white muscle shirt. He could feel the girl's eyes do a look over his body and he pretended for her sake not to notice as he bit his lip to stop from letting out a small chuckle. " So, I have to add, I'm surprised to see you all the way up here." He said as his eyes continued to penetrate the sky.

Angel looked at Roman and thought about how to answer him, it's not like she could go and tell this good looking normal guy who she had just met about some demon who was walking around and she was trying to find him- or her. No, she had to think of something.

" Well I, was out walking." She said slowly following Roman's gaze to the sky noting the fact it was starting to get dark, " My friend and I were at school and decided to skip so I parked my car down a little far aways and came up here for a walk." She lied searching his face for any hints of the gorgeous stranger not buying her story.

Angel glanced at her watch and put a hand against her forehead, " I gotta go," She sighed, disappointed at having to leave, " Luke is expecting me home early tonight to help me with my...... homework." She said, looking at Roman as she stood up she hesitantly looked at him, almost wanting to give him her number, something so that she would be able to see him or hear from him again. " Do you wanna....." She blurted out but than bit her lip nervously as she looked at him wondering how to finish the sentence.

[Roman]

Roman chuckled as he took his hand and gently brushed a strand of Angel's unruly hair behind her ear, " If you're asking me out on a date, yes." He answered watching the girl blush. I'm very interested in that power of yours as well. He thought as his answer was followed by a very awkward silence.

They stood silently for a moment or two before he finally broke the quiet moment, " So I guess you better be running along now." He smiled again, " I'll see you around sometime." He said winking as he suddenly took Angel's hand in his and pulled it up to his mouth.

When Roman stood up straight his eyes penetrated her's and they stood looking at each other again, " Later." He said as he let her hand fall down to her side and watched her turn and exit Ferrum Hills. " I'm so going to enjoy this place." He said to himself in a quiet voice.
