" It's about time"

Trish looked around her making sure she killed any remaining demons in the room, but that's not what intrigued her at the moment, she place a hand on the end of her gun and turned around pointing it at the other room's occupant.

" Oh, it's just you." She smirked as she slowly lowered the gun, " It's about time you got here." Her voice had a hint of amusement in it, " What is it with you anyway, your always taking your time, and when you finally do show up the mess is already cleaned up." She said taking a look around at the upturned tables, and the broken furniture. " Well, almost cleaned up." She added looking back at the man standing in front of her.

His boots dragged across the floor as he walked towards the woman who represented his mother, " Yeah ,yeah," His voice said in an mono tone voice. " Not like you were ever late for anything."

They shared a look and he glanced around the room, " Nice work, but don't you think you may have been ignoring a more serious problem?" He asked, " Some demon attacked town last night and killed hundreds of people, she's strong- I can sense her power." He said as he noticed from the corner of his eyes a demon that Trish had missed, he pulled his guns ebony and ivory out and shot towards the dancing demon and then put his guns away after it had died.

" Perhaps you should be doing something more than wasting your energy on these guys." He said with a cocky smile playing upon his lips as he ran a hand through his white hair.

" You're here to take care of the big guys Dante," Trish answered returning the devil hunter's cocky smile with an equally cocky grin of her own. " I just focus on the little guys so you don't over exert yourself."

They stood there staring each other down for a moment, " So what are you going to do about this new demon in town anyway?" Trish asked as her voice became a little more serious, " You're not going to wait until everyone in this town dies a violent death are you?"
